Privacy Please

To some a cellphone is just an efficient device that can be supplemental for communication in one's everyday life, for others a cellphone can be a lot more than a networking tool. In today's society many people would agree that their phones are for their personal use only and can contain very exclusive and personal information. There was an article by David Lazarus that had an unbiased opinion showing many valid examples of why and why not apple should unlock a phone that could potentially help the government gain knowledge about a terrorist group. The Government and FBI have consistently been harassing companies over the years by controlling their moves and practically shaping their actions.

David's article concludes with him siding with the government, which in my opinion is nor right or wrong. I am firm supporter of privacy protection but, I do believe American lives should be protected in any circumstance, with that being said I believe the government should have the power to go to ANY extent to do so. Could you imagine if another tragic attack was targeted at America by terrorists   and many american lives were compromised by the attack only to later find out information about the attack was encrypted on the phone. More often than not I would side with privacy protection but in a circumstance that could potentially put american lives at danger I am all for interrupting privacy to better our safety. Hack the phone apple, American safety begs you to.
